Herzlich Willkommen! Welcome!

 Hallo, ich bin Nicole!

Hi, I'm Nicole and I teach German live online!

Have you ever said:

I took German in high school, but I don't remember any of it.

I started German lessons, but I haven't stuck with it...

or

I'm in a German class, but I just don't understand what I'm supposed to do!

You're in the right place--the place where you can finally learn to speak German.

The majority of my students have tried learning German other places--in high school, in college, in courses with a dozen other students, in fits & starts over years, with computer programs or even with apps. And it didn't work because:

  • the class had to culminate in a test, forcing a fast & ineffective pace
  • the materials didn't suit the student

or maybe the most common:

  • they only ever talked about German, not in German.

I teach for language acquisition, that is, I teach so that you learn to speak German, not just talk about it.

We work together on your language skills, building from your strengths and strengthening your weaker language muscles so you can take that vacation in Switzerland, meet those distant relatives in Cologne, and feel comfortable on business trips to Germany.

Here's what one of my students has to say:

“Nicole really helped me get back on track with my German studies after many years of dabbling here and there. As soon as I made the decision to get more serious about my studies, I contacted Nicole. She quickly helped me determine my starting point, and to define a structure that would speed up my learning process. She was flexible in allowing me to work at my own pace (I can get obsessive if I really get into something!), and as a teacher she is extremely attentive, patient, warm, encouraging and kind. In addition to Skype video lessons with Nicole, I also benefited tremendously from all of the materials she makes available to all of her students on http://GermanWithNicole.com. Since your first teacher in a new language is perhaps the most important, I give Nicole my highest recommendation for impassioned German enthusiasts and learners of all levels.”

When I learned German I had one huge advantage--I first took private lessons. I took lessons with a teacher in Frankfurt and she knew exactly how to help me build the structure of German so that I was speaking from the very first lessons. This teacher was positive and supportive while she challenged me to learn and grow--she had set me up for success.

Now I teach German to set you up for success, so you can finally learn to speak German. And convenient--you can learn German from wherever you are, live and online. Click here to get started!

Danke, dass Sie gekommen sind!

Viele Grüße,

Nicole
